What is respite care?
Respite care is a short-term passage of care that can be used to give your primary caregiver a break from his/her duties. Respite care can take place in your own home, and typically will be done to give your current carer a well-needed break from his/her duties.
Respite care provides temporary relief for family and friends who are caring for someone else. Our carer assessments ensure that respite providers have the skills and experience to provide high-quality care when families need it most.
